Manchester Pop Up! Two Day Nutcracker Workshop for Years 7-11

YBS Two Day Nutcracker Workshop and Showcase... Come and join us for a festive two days of classical class in the morning  to keep your technique sharp and to warm you up for a full day ahead,  learning Nutcracker repetoire as performed by major ballet companies followed by an afternoon of creative input and choreographic Nutcracker workshops, led by world renowned teachers.... To finish the  two day pop up , we would like to invite  all parents to watch a small showcase of the repetoire and creative workshops - performed in the Centre Pointe Dance School Studio Theatre ( Attatched to the studios) 

Each day will start at 10.00am and will finish at 4.00pm.

Saturday will start with Classical class split into two studios, Which will follow with the students learning repetoire from Nutcracker. After lunch we will start our creative Nutcracker workshops in which the students will have choreographic input to create their own material to be performed in the showcase. The day will finish with a sharing of work between all the students and a recap of all the repertoire learnt through the day.

Sunday will start similairy with a classical class, after which we will recap all material learnt ( Repetoire and Creative choreography). Then we will start to rehearse the showcase in the studio theatre, ready for the parents showcase at 3.15pm!

*Please note*

Please provide you child/student with food and fluids needed to last them the day ( Packed lunch and snacks)  as we will not be providing lunch. There will be plenty of time for lunch and will be small breaks throughout the day. There is access to filtered water so we would highly advise bringing your own bottle.

If you are travelling from outside of Manchester- There is a Premier Inn located about 10 minutes walk from the studios called, Premier Inn Denton.
