RESIDENTIAL COURSE
Immerse yourself in dance this summer at the YBS Summer Residential Course, an inspiring programme combining exceptional training, artistic development and the chance to make lasting friendships with like-minded young dancers.
With four classes each day, the course places excellence in classical ballet training at its heart, alongside contemporary dance and a varied programme designed to develop the versatility, artistry and technical skills demanded by today's ballet profession. Live piano accompaniment, expert coaching from leading industry professionals and individual feedback provide an inspiring environment in which dancers can progress, build confidence and reach their potential.
Beyond the studio, excellent pastoral care, a welcoming residential atmosphere and a lively programme of group activities ensure a wonderful balance of focused training, new friendships and summer fun.

BEYOND DANCE
PASTORAL
Exceptional pastoral care is at the heart of YBS. Our dedicated team, led by an experienced Pastoral Lead, creates a warm, inclusive and supportive environment where every dancer feels safe, valued and at home, enabling them to thrive both in and out of the studio.
WELLBEING
When not dancing, our students are kept busy with activities and building lifelong friendships. The Pastoral Team checks-in with students throughout the day to ensure their needs are always met.
PERFORM
Each residential week conclude with a final showcase that celebrates the work and learning achieved across the course. Parents and Guardians are invited to attend and cheer on the dancers and experience everything they’ve achieved throughout the course.
FOOD
Students have Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner served each day. Students also have scheduled Snack Breaks to fuel a full day of training.
LOCATION

In particular, the theatre will be a wonderful setting for our Saturday showcase, offering our dancers the opportunity to perform in a fantastic space. The showcase is such a special part of the YBS experience, bringing together our students and their families, to celebrate the hard work, progress and artistry developed throughout the course.
